It’s not just entertainment, but also a great way to develop children’s financial literacy and responsibility skills.

The entrance fee to KidZania is about 185 dirhams (approximately $50 USD) for children and 95 dirhams (about $26 USD) for adults. The center is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, which is very convenient for families with different daily schedules.

But KidZania is just one of many entertainments for children in this area. Here are a few more popular places:

  1. Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo – a huge aquarium with thousands of marine inhabitants.
  2. Dubai Ice Rink – a skating rink where you can ice skate even on a hot day.
  3. VR Park – a virtual reality park with attractions for all ages.

All these places are located in Dubai Mall, which itself is a great place for family leisure with numerous restaurants, a cinema, and shops.

But you know what really makes the Lake District ideal for families? It’s the sense of safety and comfort. Here you can calmly let your child go for a walk in the yard or ride a bike around the lake. As you can see, the Lake District is in the “golden middle”. It’s more expensive than some popular areas like Dubai Marina or JBR, but remains more affordable than elite locations like Palm Jumeirah or the city center.

What does this mean for investors? In my opinion, it’s the ideal price-quality ratio. You get premium real estate in a unique location, but without the overpayment that’s characteristic of Dubai’s most “hyped” areas.

But price is just one side of the coin. It’s important to consider the potential for value growth. And here the Lake District has a serious advantage. From my observations and market analysis, real estate here is growing in price faster than the Dubai average. Over the past 3 years, the average growth has been about 15% annually, while in Dubai Marina this figure was at 10-12%, and in Downtown Dubai – 12-14%.
